CIRCUIT 1

Les Roches de la Moulure

Departure : Tourist Information Office, Multi-Activity House

 

Take the Petit Paradis road, at the first next fork go up to the left onto the Petit Tholy road and follow it to the end, passing admire the beautifully renovated traditional farm built in 1621.

Continue to the crossroads at altitude 683, there turn left towards Froide-fontaine, then left again towards Haut Vacon until the next crossroads. Turn right, after about 800 meters a small path crosses a spruce plantation, you take it and arrive at the road that leads to the Stat. Take the path opposite the Stat building and join the road to Réhaupal which you will go down for 800 meters.

Then turn left to Renifaing, then left again, pass in front of the Saint Hubert chalet, then right for the tour of the Charme de l'Ormont, passing through Mironfaing. Continue straight on to the Calvary from where you have a nice view of the Faing Herry.

Take a left towards the Roches de la Moulure, then the Cense de l'Ormont, the Levées Hauts and the Cherrières. Once on the D11, go up it on the left for 200 meters and go down the Creux to the foot of the Grande Cascade.

Stop to admire the waterfall from its foot, continue straight and climb left to above the waterfall, there you can stop to see it from a completely different angle. Then pedal straight up towards Sapenay.

When you reach the Fossard road, turn left for 300 metres then turn right towards Faing Cresson then Blongoutte, a little further down turn left towards the pinasses and Noirrupt and return to the start via the D11.
